Hershey - American Rabbit

Shelter: BC SPCA - Abbotsford/Langley Animal ID: 432212 Birthdate: May 09, 2017 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Hershey was born with her brother at the Kamloops & district BC SPCA. It was quite surprising when a stray rabbit that came in suddenly gave birth to two little kits! Hershey and her brother Peanut Butter have now grown, been spayed and neutered, and are ready to find their fur-ever home. They are large rabbits so having plenty of space is important. They are considered a bonded pair since they've been together since birth. Hersey is the more outgoing of the pair, and can be a bit on the greedy side when it comes to treats! That's ok though as it will help with her training - did you know you can teach rabbits to do tricks? Hersey has done well with her litter box training and staff can show adopters how to continue this. Rabbits are often overlooked at the shelter and can stay the longest, but do make wonderful pets! They need special care, diet, and plenty of room for exercise and enrichment, so it is important to do your research before adopting any new animal. Peanut Butter and Hershey will make a wonderful addition for any family, come in to the BC SPCA Tri-Cities Branch to see them!
